On February 24, 2022, I sent this e-mail to George Toriello requesting if he had gained any more information on Milton H. Lischitz.  Here is his response along with some general information on his service:

My request:
Hi George, you sent this info on him about him changing his name.  Are you sure it is the same guy?  And did you have, or can you get, any military info on him?    Otherwise, I will just mention we know he served because his name is on the

Here is George Toriello’s response:

Bob,
Here is more info from a Family Tree developed by Deborah Lipson.
(Relation unknown...)

It simply confirms that we have the correct veteran. Just cannot find how he went from the Army Medical Corps (3/3/1943) to the US Navy (9/30/1944), which Deborahs' tree clearly shows. (May have been a 'temporary duty' situation. The Navy may have needed medical staff. Not unusual in wartime...)
I sent a private message on Ancestry to Deborah Lipson regarding Milton on
Jan. 8, 2020. She never replied. Just sent another today. See if she has any other info on the Army Enlistment and then the Navy Muster rolls, which show the same birth dates.
